Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Print Fast Express online store (printfast.co.za) and the purchase of goods and services from Print Fast Express outlets. By placing an order, you agree to these terms. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 ("CPA") or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 ("ECTA").


1. Who you are dealing with

Print Fast Express (Pty) Ltd (Registration No. ____________), a private company incorporated in South Africa.

Some Print Fast Express outlets are independently owned and operated franchise businesses. Your contract for an in-store purchase is with the outlet that serves you; your contract for an online-store purchase is with Print Fast Express (Pty) Ltd.

2. Our services

We provide (a) printing, copying, design, and branding services, including custom and personalised products; (b) standard retail products; (c) courier drop-off, collection, and parcel-locker services as agent for third-party courier networks; and (d) an online store through which these can be ordered.

3. Orders and acceptance

3.1 An order placed online is an offer to purchase. A contract is formed only when we send an order confirmation. 3.2 We may decline any order, including where a product is mispriced, out of stock, or where the artwork breaches clause 6. 3.3 Prices are in South African Rand and include VAT where applicable. Delivery fees are shown at checkout before payment. 3.4 Obvious pricing errors do not bind us; if we cancel for a pricing error, you receive a full refund.

4. Custom print and branding orders

4.1 You must supply print-ready artwork or approve the proof we prepare. Approval of a proof is your instruction to print — we are not liable for errors (spelling, layout, resolution, colour choices) contained in an approved proof or in files you supplied. 4.2 Minor colour variation between on-screen previews and printed output is inherent to the printing process and is not a defect. 4.3 Production turnaround times are estimates measured from proof approval and cleared payment, not from order placement. 4.4 Large or complex jobs may be produced at our central factory and dispatched from Durban; this does not change your rights under these terms. 4.5 Cancellation and refunds of custom orders are governed by our Return & Refund Policy.

5. Your content and intellectual property

5.1 You retain ownership of all artwork, files, logos, and content you supply. You grant us a limited licence to reproduce them solely to fulfil your order. 5.2 You warrant that you own or are licensed to use everything you ask us to print, and that it does not infringe any third party's rights. You indemnify us against claims arising from content you supplied. 5.3 We may retain production files for up to 30 days after order completion for reprints and quality claims, after which they are securely deleted (see our Privacy Policy).

6. Prohibited content

We will not print material that is unlawful; that infringes copyright or trademarks; counterfeit branding; hate speech; or content that violates any applicable law. We may refuse any job at our discretion and will refund amounts paid for refused jobs.

7. Payment

Payment is due at the time of ordering, via the payment methods offered at checkout (or Yoco / iKhokha card payment in store). We do not store card details; payments are processed by our payment providers.

8. Delivery and collection

Delivery, collection, and risk in the goods are governed by our Shipping Policy. Risk passes to you on delivery to your address, or on hand-over at an outlet, locker, or courier collection point.

9. Courier agency services

When you drop off or collect a third-party courier parcel at a Print Fast Express outlet, we act as agent only for the courier network concerned (e.g. PUDO, The Courier Guy, Pargo). The courier's own terms, waybill conditions, and liability limits govern carriage of the parcel. Our liability as agent is limited to handing the parcel to the courier or to you in the condition received.

10. Returns, refunds, and warranties

Returns, refunds, reprints, and statutory warranties are governed by our Return & Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms. Your CPA rights — including the six-month warranty on defective goods (section 56) — are unaffected.

11. Our liability

11.1 To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any order is limited to the price you paid for that order. 11.2 We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss (including lost profits or lost business opportunities) arising from delay or error, except where such liability cannot be excluded under the CPA. 11.3 Nothing in these terms excludes liability for gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Online store use

You may not misuse the online store, attempt to gain unauthorised access, scrape content, or interfere with its operation. The store's content (logos, product photos, text, and the "Print Fast Express" brand) is our property or used under licence and may not be reproduced without permission.

13. Privacy

Our collection and use of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, published on this store, in compliance with POPIA.

14. General

14.1 These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. 14.2 If any clause is unenforceable, the remainder stays in force. 14.3 We may update these terms from time to time; the version published at the time of your order applies to that order. 14.4 ECTA section 43 disclosure information is set out in our Legal Notice and Contact Information pages.
